Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, honorary members of the jury, participants and guests!

Welcome to the 1st "Japan Piano Open" International Piano Competition!

Since many years the "European Foundation for Support of Culture" is known as one of biggest foundations where the word SUPPORT placed above all. I am honored to join the board of several projects of the foundation including the „Japan Piano Open“ International Competition.

The panel of the International Jury consists of world wide recognized musicians from different countries.

I believe, that "Japan Piano Open" will become a new effective World Piano Podium, where the pianists will share their personalities, professionalism and knowledge.

I wish a wonderful time to the members of the Jury, good luck to all participants and WELCOME TO TOKYO.
